A lively picturesque seaside city with great transport links via rail into its central Brighton railway station, by road and even air into its own airport. It’s compact and everything leads off the seafront so is easily accessible by foot, even for those in heels! There are plenty of cabs and buses should you decide your journey is that bit too far from your hotel to the lively West Street or the quirky independent area of North Laines.
Here are a few tips that might help you during your party or group event in Brighton.
- Busy Period. Brighton’s Festival in May last just over three weeks and includes parades, fireworks, exhibitions, concerts and fringe shows. Also in May is The Great Escape music festival.
- Driving into Brighton can be slow – the A23, the main road in, is often gridlocked so best avoided. A useful tip is to turn off at the last junction. The road takes you through beautiful countryside, up and past the Devil's Dyke.
