More Information About ABTA
Founded back in 1950 by leading travel businesses originally called Association of British Travel Agents. This non-profit company has developed over the years to now included over 1200 companies including travel agents and tour operators.
Members of ABTA are held to a high standard when it comes to adhering to the Code of Conduct that protects you financially should anything happen to the company you booked through, guaranteeing you that you can carry on with your holiday as normal or get your money back with a quick and simple process.
As well as providing financial protection, ABTA also works with the Foreign Office to keep an eye on what is happening and where across the globe, meaning that they can also offer you quick and thorough advice in times of crisis to make sure you can stay as safe as possible.
