Booked with StagWeb? Here's what's changed
StagWeb is back and taking new bookings, now part of the Funktion Events group, owned by Funktion Leisure Ltd. If your stag weekend was booked with StagWeb, or you were about to lock one in, here's where you stand and how we'll get the weekend sorted.

What's happened with StagWeb?
StagWeb was run by Groupia Ltd, which entered administration on 16 June 2026. In July 2026 the StagWeb brand was acquired by Funktion Leisure Ltd, the company behind Funktion Events, so StagWeb is now part of our group and taking new stag bookings again.
If you booked before the administration (with the previous operator, Groupia Ltd), that booking is protected through ABTOT, the travel protection scheme, and is handled separately from any new booking you make now. Two dates decide where you stand:
- Stag weekend on or before 31 August 2026: ABTOT has arrangements in place and your trip is expected to go ahead as planned.
- Stag weekend from 1 September 2026: it is being cancelled and you can claim your money back through ABTOT.
The official StagWeb administration page has the full details and how to claim. For refund or claim questions, go straight to ABTOT on 020 7065 5305 or claims@abtot.com with your booking reference. We can't deal with those refunds ourselves, but we can get your replacement weekend sorted.
Planning a new stag do?
Funktion Events is an ABTA-bonded stag do company (Member No. Y6501), organising stag weekends across 73 UK and European destinations since 2007. Yes. StagWeb is now part of Funktion Leisure Ltd, the company behind Funktion Events, and is taking new stag bookings again at stagweb.co.uk. If you'd rather plan your stag do with Funktion Events, our team can help too.
No. Refunds for bookings made before the administration sit with ABTOT rather than us. Call ABTOT on 020 7065 5305 or email claims@abtot.com with your booking reference. What we can do is help you put a fresh stag weekend together.
It should be. ABTOT expects trips on or before 31 August 2026 to run as planned, so follow the instructions on the official StagWeb administration page and keep your booking reference somewhere safe.
Trips from 1 September 2026 are being cancelled, so start a refund claim with ABTOT. Once that's under way, give us a shout and we'll help you rebuild the weekend so no one misses out.
