Combat Archery Tag Stag Do
Combat Archery Tag is dodgeball crossed with archery, with two teams using foam-tipped arrows to eliminate opponents and knock target cones from inflatable bunkers. Catch an arrow mid-game and a teammate comes back into play. It works well for stag groups because everyone gets involved quickly and the competitive side kicks in almost immediately. How Combat Archery Tag Works for a Stag Do
We book the sports venue, bring the kit and have an instructor ready to greet you, so your group walks straight in and gets going. Most groups get around an hour of play, with the instructor splitting you into two teams and rotating through different game formats including elimination, last man standing and capture the cones. After a quick safety brief and a couple of practice shots, you're into the rounds. The instructor keeps the pace up so there's no standing around between games.
Why Combat Archery Tag Works for Stag Groups
The rules are simple enough that anyone picks it up in the first round, but the games get genuinely competitive once everyone's settled in. You don’t need to be particularly sporty either, as the bows and game format level things out quickly. Foam-tipped arrows take the edge off compared to paintball stag activities. Mixed ages and abilities all get stuck in, which matters when the group's a mix of mates, brothers, the groom's uncle and a colleague who's never met half the group. It's a daytime activity that doesn't affect your evening, which is why most groups book it before food, drinks and the night ahead.
Where Does Combat Archery Tag Take Place?
Combat Archery Tag is mainly held on outdoor all-weather pitches a short drive from the city centre, so it won’t take over your whole stag day. You can book this in UK cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Nottingham, Newcastle and Cardiff, plus European destinations such as Amsterdam, Prague and Krakow.

Reviews
The sports were ideal for our gang and long enough, but not too long.
The guy that hosted (Clayton??) was brilliant and kept us all on track, whilst keeping it light hearted.
The event (Battle Tag Archery) was really good fun and very well organised on the day. No hesitation in recommending and will use this company again.
