Earn while you learn and build a career in events, from our HQ in the heart of Chester.
Funktion Events has been organising hen parties, stag dos, team building and group events since 2007. In partnership with Cheshire College we take on apprentices in customer service and administration, and support them all the way to their qualification. It's an approach we're proud of – several of today's team came through as apprentices, and it earned us Business Apprenticeship Ambassador of the Year.
Why Do Your Apprenticeship With Us
- Earn a wage while you gain a recognised qualification with Cheshire College.
- Real, hands-on training across the business, including trialling the activities we sell.
- A genuine path to progress – plenty of the team started as apprentices and worked their way up.
- A friendly, inclusive Chester office where we work hard and support each other.
- Backed by our award-winning apprenticeship programme.
Where You Could Start
Our apprenticeships give you a grounding in the business, with the chance to specialise as you grow. Areas of the team include:
- Customer Service – the first point of contact for customers, helping them plan hen and stag dos, team building and European events.
- Operations – keeping bookings running smoothly from first enquiry through to event day.
- Marketing – website, content, social media and SEO to reach customers across the globe.
- Accounts – the numbers behind the business, working with the latest accountancy software.
- Product & Supply Chain – sourcing new activities and looking after supplier partnerships.
Current Apprenticeships
We're not recruiting apprentices right now.
We take on apprentices as the team grows, so this can change quickly. When a place opens up it's advertised on the official gov.uk apprenticeship service, and we share it on LinkedIn as soon as it goes live.
