What Happens at a Charity Skateboard Building Team Activity?

The event is hosted by an event manager, who guides your team through the day from start to finish. Your group splits into teams, each taking on roles across design, construction and branding to bring a skateboard to life. Team games run throughout to keep things competitive and fun, with medals awarded to the winning team at the end. All equipment needed for the build, aprons and floor coverings, is provided, and a full clean-up service means there's nothing left for your team to deal with afterwards. Once the skateboards are finished, we handle all transportation and delivery to the children's charity.

Why Charity Skateboard Building Works for Teams

Charity Skateboard Building works because it splits your team into the kind of roles you'd find on a real project: design, construction and branding, each requiring a different mindset and skill set. That mix forces collaboration across the group rather than everyone doing the same task in parallel, and the competitive element from the team games and medals keeps energy high throughout. The charitable outcome gives the day a purpose beyond the build itself: every skateboard your team creates goes to a young person through a children's charity, giving them access to sport, creativity and confidence. The post-event impact report closes the loop, showing your team exactly what their afternoon achieved.

Where Does Charity Skateboard Building Take Place?

Charity Skateboard Building runs at venues across the UK, with the day organised around your team's schedule. An event manager oversees the build from start to finish, and all the kit needed, aprons and floor coverings, is provided along with a full clean-up service. Because the format doesn't rely on any specialist venue, it works for a wide range of spaces, from your own office to a hired venue. Let us know your preferred location when you enquire and we'll confirm the details ahead of the day.

Everything is provided on the day: an event manager to host, aprons and floor coverings with a full clean-up service, team games throughout, medals for the winning team, transportation and delivery of the finished skateboards, and a post-event impact report. Your team just needs to show up.

The finished skateboards are donated to children's charities that give young people access to sport, creativity and confidence. Delivery is arranged directly by us, and you'll receive a post-event impact report showing how your team's work made a difference.

Charity Skateboard Building runs Monday to Friday, with start times between 9am and 7pm. Let us know your preferred day and time when you enquire and we'll build it into the schedule.

Teams split into roles across design, construction and branding, each covering a different part of bringing the skateboard to life. This mix means everyone contributes differently rather than working on the same task, which keeps the day varied and collaborative.
