The murder mystery hen party is a chance to bring everyone together for a night of laughs, intrigue and friendly sleuthing. Choose between Red Carpet Revenge, a modern celebrity-style whodunit, or Death & The Maiden Voyage, a glamorous 1920s caper, each featuring 10 guest suspects (with others welcome as non-speaking characters).
Professional actors will host your experience anywhere in York, guiding you through lively scenes packed with clues personalised with the groom, best man, wedding details and more. The actors arrive 30 minutes early to set up, need a simple table for clue reveals, and can perform at your home, party house or hired venue. Just add music for the breaks, listen closely (anything could be a clue) and see if you can catch the murderer before it’s too late!
What’s Included

- Choose your theme: “Red Carpet Revenge” (celebrity modern theme) or “Death & The Maiden Voyage” (1920’s theme)
- Themes can be customised to include: name of the groom, best man, date and location of the wedding etc.
- Includes professional, immersive actors
- Activity requires a dining table
- Each participant will be given a character sheet
- Duration: 2-4 hours
- Time is broken into an intro, two scenes, time for consideration and an outro with the big reveal!
- Times available: Anytime up to 9pm, any day
- Activity will take place in your home or hired venue
- Venue and food not included in this package but welcome to add yourself
- Please allow 30-minutes before your event for set-up
