What to expect from the Charity Bike Build Team Building Activity?
The Charity Bike Build team building event will have you and your squad working together to build an unassembled bike to give to charity. Split into groups, each group will be allocated a workshop area and then will be given a tool kit, bike stand and an unassembled bike. From allocating roles for everyone, attending knowledge workshops and sharing what's learned, everything comes together with an approved building plan.
To make it a little more difficult, your workforce will be challenged in mini games where they can earn any extra parts needed to succeed in building the bike. Once built safely, the bikes will be checked by an engineer and given straight to your chosen charity. So, if you’re looking for a group bonding experience that’s both effective and meaningful, then this activity is well worth considering!

Event Format
On the day of your event, you will arrive at your designated venue where your bicycle-making stations will be set up for you. After receiving a short introduction on how the activity will run, everyone will split up into smaller groups and make their way to their stations.
During the event, each group will get to work their way through a series of bicycle-themed games and challenges in a bid to win fun money for their group. With that fun money, groups will get to purchase parts to build and improve their bicycles.
By the end of the activity, once each bike has been completed, each group will get to make their way around the room for a tongue-in-cheek judging of each other’s bike-building skills! After your event has finished, all of your bikes will then be donated to a chosen charity.

What’s included in the Build a Bike for a Charity Team Event?
All of the equipment you could possibly need for this exciting activity is provided for you on the day including your bike frames, tools, wheels, pedals, handlebars, brakes and the rest… so no need to bring anything extra! To ensure a smooth experience, you’ll also have an event manager and event crew to help and guide you through the activity.
What Happens to our cycles at the end of the Charity Bike Building Team Day?
Now this is the best part! All the bikes that have been approved by a bike engineer will be given to your chosen charity that day. You are also allowed to attend the bike handover experience, which is extremely rewarding.
