Here at Funktion, we strive to make life easier for you when it comes to planning and organising the perfect stag do. Whether it’s for a family member, a close friend or anything in between, you’re going to want to make sure that the groom has the best night he possibly can! We’ve put together a short list that might help you and the lads along the way… so take a look at these 5 ways to keep the groom happy – you can thank us later!
How Can You Keep the Groom Happy on the Stag Do?
1. Check the Booze Supply
This might seem like a bit of an obvious one, but we still can’t stress enough how unbelievably important this one is! A large supply of alcohol applies to most stag parties, and it’s your job to make sure that the groom-to-be is in constant supply of the stuff. An easy way to do this without breaking the bank is by getting a kitty together with the rest of the guys. Grab this before the night out and then use it to buy all the stag’s drinks for the duration of the night. Depending on how much you manage to pool together and the size of your group, you might be able to cover a few rounds for everyone rather than just the groom-to-be when it comes to drinks.
2. Keep it Stress-Free
The groom-to-be has enough to worry about with all the wedding planning and such… so make sure one of your main priorities is to make sure that the stag feels as least stressed out as possible! As the organiser, you need to assure him that everything is under control and going to plan, even if that’s not always the case! A great way to achieve this is by arranging your itinerary and booking early! Whether it’s accommodation, flights or props… making sure it’s all sorted before the big celebration is key. If you’re struggling, don’t leave the responsibility of helping to the stag. Contact one of the other guys to help out or pitch in if you’re feeling overwhelmed!
3. Stag Do Surprises!
Dropping a few cheeky surprises that you know will put a smile on his face is a fantastic way to make sure you keep the groom happy! Whether it’s with props for your big night out or inviting a long-distance friend of the stag along to the celebrations… this will definitely show you’re going the extra mile and will help make his last night of freedom a truly memorable time.
If he’s known for being a bit of a thrill-seeker, then arranging some adrenaline-fuelled activities for the stag do is a great way to make it a memorable experience. This is also a great opportunity for the lads to challenge themselves and try something totally unique. Lucky for you, we have the perfect stag do ideas you need to bring some electrifying fun to your celebrations!
5. Get Personal
If you know the groom-to-be very well, then packing his last night of freedom full of his favourite stuff will result in a guaranteed success! Small yet meaningful personal touches are a great route to take… whether that’s getting in his favourite tipple for the pre-drinks or kicking off the laughter with inside jokes and dares, he’s going to have a fantastic evening if you do this!
