Oxford is a busy city to drive in, so it’s a good job it is so pedestrian friendly with an abundance of cabs and taxi’s, as well as hop on and off buses you can buy a daily pass for. The train station is to the west of the city although still central and within the ring road that surrounds the city. As a university city there is an abundance of nightlife mainly centred around George Street, which is a five minute walk from the train station but there are a few gems hidden down the side streets if your prepared to walk.
