Everyone knows that Christmas is the time for giving, so why not give back to your colleagues or employees and treat everyone to a smartphone Christmas treasure hunt team building experience. A twist on the popular team event, you and the team will get the chance to explore your city of choice like never before, with a bar crawl included so you can warm yourself with a few festive drinks in the winter chill during this Christmas scavenger hunt! The whole event is self-run, so you can build it into your agenda no matter what you’re doing, and activate the app at any time to work together.

Event Format
At the start of the day, everyone taking part will get to download the bespoke game app before receiving a short briefing from your remote host. They will explain how the activity will run before splitting everyone up into smaller groups of 4-6 people.
During the activity, each group will make their way to different GPS hotspots dotted around the local area where they will come face-to-face with a series of Christmas-themed games and challenges. For every game or challenge they complete successfully, they will bag some all-important points for themselves, pushing them further up the live scoreboard.
At the end of the day, everyone will meet back up at the starting point where the overall winning group will be announced.
Extra Info:
The App is designed for Android phones and tablets, the iPhone and the iPad. It will not work on Windows phones or Blackberry.
There are also minimum versions of the operating system that are required for the App so if you can't see it in the store it probably means your phone isn't compatible.
The minimum device system requirements are as follows…
- iOS Version 10.0 and above,
- Android Version 4.4 and above,
- Whatever phone or tablet you use, it will also need a data plan, a compass and have GPS activated.
- A fully charged smartphone will be required per team.
- Whilst the App will normally work on other unrecommended Android & iOS devices, there may be times where users experience issues with certain areas such as poor battery life, GPS signal or small issues in the game. In particular, you may have issues if running the App on an old phone.
