What is the Qubed Team Building Activity?

The Qube team building activity is a fantastic way to bring your group together! With everyone working together, it's sure to be an exciting challenge that will strengthen the bond between them. Each activity takes place in a large cube, where the contestants will work together to complete the tasks. To give each group some practice before the activity begins, each group can have a go at the tasks beforehand to work on their techniques.

Now it’s time to begin the pressure zone, where tension will take over as you compete for first place. Your points will build up as you complete each challenge, and the group with the most points overall will be the qube winner!

Event Format

On the day, the event will begin with a short introductory briefing from your activity host. They will explain how the experience will run before splitting everyone into smaller groups. Then, it will be time to take on the cube!

During the event, you will face group-based and head-to-head challenges, giving each squad the chance to earn extra fun money for their pot. Groups will also get practice time before entering the “pressure zone” and try their best to complete the challenges without losing lives.

With around 14 tricky challenges to attempt, by the end of the activity, the group that has managed to work through each challenge and has racked up the highest score will be crowned the overall winning group of the day.

Qubed Games

Some of the games that you and your colleagues will play during the Qubed experience include:

  • Exact - You will be blindfolded and must stop the clock within the 0.5 seconds either side of 20 seconds
  • Descent - You must bounce the ball twice onto the surface and into the cylinder
  • Tilt - Your group must hold a beam each to create a plank, the ball must roll from one end to the other without falling off
