Harrogate can be easily reached from Leeds and York with good train links available. There are buses that go directly between Leeds and Harrogate every 15 minutes too. A car is a great option but with its rural location in the north of England, you may find it to be a tiring and long drive if you live more than 100 miles away. Harrogate is a small town which is goes easy on your feet. Yes, it’s a little hilly but that’s better than boring and flat, right? Walking around shouldn’t be an issue, after all, Harrogate is a town all about being absorbed in its wonderful atmosphere so what better way to do that than get out and walk from place to place in the fresh Yorkshire air?
If you live further afield and fancy flying, then enter Leeds-Bradford as your destination, it’s not too far from Harrogate. If you want to head out and explore the gorgeous northern wilderness surrounding the town, then a car would be the best way.

Being voted three times consecutively as happiest place to live in the UK and considered more romantic than Rome and Paris, Harrogate is a fantastic and magical place to be, the unique architecture and large amount of green spaces makes it a picturesque backdrop to your hen party. You would need a car or taxi to access the countryside outside of the town to get to places like Ripley Castle and Gardens but it’s so worth it for the rewards are great. Most of the festivals are held at the backend of the summer time which makes the town a lot busier and livelier.

The restaurants are fancy and in the hundreds, each having their own menu, décor and style. The elegant Bettys Tea Room which founded in Harrogate almost a hundred years ago, and offers you and the girls a chance to wine and dine in pure class. They are renowned for their delightful Afternoon tea which is world famous and OMG. It is to die for!
