Enter the doors to this grand looking Victorian tavern and be greeted by plenty of character and traditional features with plenty of wooden panelling and draught beers! The old Tetley Brewery offers a classic British pub grub menu complimented by a huge choice of beers. The pub has recently undergone a huge £250,000 overhaul which has modernised and cleaned up the interior but still proudly serves the same sports, cask ales and draughts everyone loves.

Located right next to the world-famous City Varieties theatre, it’s very easy to find and even easier to walk through the doors. When you do, you’ll be greeted to a very visually pleasing space with a nice mix of clean and modern with traditional and welcoming. Saving the best to last shall we say? This has got to be the quirkiest “pub” in the entirety of Leeds city centre and would have you and the lads hopping onboard an old docked boat in the middle of Woodhouse Lane. There’s space to go above deck and chill out in the sun in the outdoor section as well as below deck where the bar lies. Food and drink are served throughout the day so kick back, relax and enjoy a chilled-out atmosphere. Due to the narrow nature of boat, we’d recommend this only to smaller groups.
