Travel Across Northampton
Northampton being in the centre of England makes travel arrangements a lot easier with links coming from north, east, south and west. There are no airports close to the town unfortunately if you were hoping to fly. Since Northampton is known as the largest town in the UK and is very spread out, walking from place to place may be too much for most people. Your best bet is to either hire a car, hail a taxi or catch a bus to wherever you wish to go. The M1 links Northampton to London to the south and Leeds to its north, so if you live near the M1 motorway, it would be wise to travel there by car. Northampton’s trains come and go to major destinations like London, Birmingham and Milton Keynes.

Being in a county named after the town, Northamptonshire is cool but what’s even cooler is what’s in this amazing county. There are small picturesque hamlets and stunning little villages to nosey around in, not to mention the countryside surrounding them all is fantastic, filled with plenty of outdoor activities and opportunities to explore. If you don’t fancy walking through the incredible Northamptonshire countryside, you can always go paintballing, have a shot at footgolf or go and train with ex-soldiers with British Military Fitness in Abingdon park.
The town is great for sightseeing and has some marvellous buildings like the Holy Sepulchre and Express Lift tower to discover. The town is quite spread out, so walking to get from point A to B may take a long tiring trek, hail a taxi or catch the bus instead. There is greyhound racing at the Towcaster racecourse, just south-west of the town. Whatever you want to do, Northampton offers a lot of choice to fill your stag do weekend right up.
