What to Expect from the Retro Showdown Christmas Party?

Throw your colleagues into a selection of old school games this festive season, featuring an event host and full set up for your experience. This event includes a beloved games from the 80s and 90s such as Bullseye and Wheel of Fortune, in which smaller groups will compete for fun money throughout the day. Work together to earn as much fun money as you can before the finale – the Million Dollar Drop! The winners of the day will receive medals after a full wrap-up presentation.

What’s Included

  • Briefing as to how the day will run
  • Props and theming with be in place to add to the retro feel of the event
  • Fun and quick icebreaker
  • Split into teams
  • Then go head to head on each of the gameshows, facing a different team at each time
  • Winning teams are rewarded with fun money, the team with the most fun money will enter the Million Dollar Drop finale!

  • A selection of games that could be played on the day are Bullseye, Wheel of Fortune, Generation Game, Catchphrase amongst others!

Event Format

On the day, the activity will start with a short briefing from you activity co-ordinator on how everything will run before they split the room up into smaller groups. Then, it will be time to go head-to-head competing against each other in a series of gameshow games. Even if you have some younger team members taking part that might not know or remember any of these games, this is an activity that’s easy to get stuck into and learn the rules! With each win you bag for your team, you’ll win that all-important fun money which will be counted up at the end.

After each team has faced off with each other, your co-ordinator will total up the amount of fun money each team has won before determining who the highest scorers are. The two teams with the most money will then head into the Million Dollar Drop finale to battle it out for first place, with medals handed out in a presentation at the end.
