Originating from the late 1920’s in the United States, the jive has carried on its legacy throughout the years. It is a dance that represents the pre- rock and roll era and is a particular fast dance and lots of sharp actions. A key move in this dance style is the ‘American Spin’ which is a very tricky move but looks amazing when done well. Even if you feel like you’ve got two left feet and dancing isn’t really for you, there’s no denying as soon as the music starts you’ll be dying to get up and moving. But if you do have family and friends who would prefer to watch, invite them along to spectate free of charge.
This is your opportunity to dress to the nine’s, put on your best dancing shoes and enjoy an energetic dance class guided by an experience dance instructor. The whole session will be totally tailored to your hen group and their fitness abilities, so you can relax and enjoy the unique experience. Everything you need will be included, but if you fancy spicing up the day then why not bring along some swing dresses to get into the party spirit and match the theme! Come together at the end of the session and perform your final routine, don’t forget to take a few photos as memorabilia.
