Top 3 Team Building Activities

Team Building ZorbTeam building activities are a fun, challenging and rewarding way to strengthen your bond with your colleagues. There’s a variety of team building activities to choose from but we here at Funktion have selected the top 3 team building activities money can buy.

First up, there’s the smartphone pub treasure hunt. Think of it as a pub quiz you play on the go. What’s nice about this one is that it’s a self-managed activity so you can start whenever you like and take it at your own pace. You and your fellow treasure hunters will divide yourselves into teams and split up. Be sure to take a team selfie and give yourselves an apprentice style team name such as summit or empire. Each team will need to assign a team captain amongst themselves. The captain will have the treasure hunt app on their smartphone. From there you’ll be sent to various locations around the city via GPS to unlock quizzes, challenges and clues.

Along the way you’ll come across pubs where you can complete the trivia questions while enjoying some well-earned beverages. There’s even a live scoreboard where you can monitor how the other team’s doing, where they are and send them messages. It’s a fun twist on the traditional pub crawl and a leisurely way to enjoy some team bonding.

The last and easily the weirdest activity is Zorb Football. If you’re unsure what Zorb football is, just think football except your upper body is wrapped in a giant inflatable ball. Expect a lot of bumping, bouncing and rolling as you clumsily try to tackle players and score goals. Zorb is a great if you just want to have a good laugh rather than the more taxing challenges other team building exercises throw at you.

Two teams will be faced with a variety of team building tasks which are divided into three categories: Mental, physical and skill. If your team completes a task in enough time, then they’ll receive a crystal. The aim is to be the team with the most crystals at the end of the game. You and your team will need to combine all of your skills together in order to overcome the obstacles and emerge victorious.
