And if you’re wondering what exactly is one then they are 2 deliciously thin waffles sandwiched together with a caramel-like syrup filling…delicious. Explore the City

During your hen party in Amsterdam you will quickly realise how amazing this city is to explore – we love it! And it is amazing how easy it is to explore, with the help of Google maps and the very reliable trams throughout the city, you can get almost anywhere you want! Or if you want to be at one with the locals why not hire a bike? There are nearly a million bikes in the city! Not only is it great fitness but it’s also a great way to visit all the sights in the centre. If you’re visiting during the spring and summer months why not go on a bike ride around Vondelpark? Or perhaps explore some of the many museums this city has like the Van Gogh Museum, Rijkmuseum and the Moco Museum.

In between your Amsterdam hen activities why not explore the countless little side streets that are full of independent shops that we’re sure you will all love, or perhaps stop and enjoy watching the world go by with a hot drink in one of the cafes, there is at least one in every street so you’ll be spoilt for choice. On your travels you will obviously see more bridges each day than you ever have in your whole life but there are some to look out for, first up is Reguli­ers­gracht, otherwise known as Seven Bridges Amsterdam. It is one of the most picturesque and tranquil canals in the centre. The other is Magere Brug which translates to the Skinny Bridge, again another gorgeous bridge which only pedestrians and bicycles are allowed to cross so it provides a nice spot to sit back with the girls and enjoy the view.
