Why a Munich Stag Do?
If your wanting a stag do out of the norm, then why not venture out to Munich? The capital of Bavaria and the second most visited city in Germany.
Surrounded by enchanting forests and mountains, famous breweries and the birthplace of BMW. Whether your sports mad or just love the culture Munich will intrigue all stags for the last days of freedom! This city is sprawled in pubs clubs and strip clubs…might we add that Munich is home to Europe’s largest strip club. If that hasn’t got your attention, then nothing will.
Munich is very much famous for the annual celebration that of course is Oktoberfest! This event has been running for more than 180 years and usually runs for just over two weeks between September and October. It is known as the “World’s largest Folk Festival” and attracts more than 6 million visitors a year. The main focus seems to be beer and food. Which of course fits a stag weekend to a T, but don’t worry if you can’t make Oktoberfest the party doesn’t stop in October it just moves from the festival tents to the buzzing nightlife.

Food & Drink
If we had to describe the food in Munich in three words it would have to be sausage, dumplings and pretzels. Of course there’s loads of finer cuisine dishes out there, but when getting ready for a big night on the town during the Munich stag weekend you want the foods that will really soak up the alcohol. What better way of helping with how delicate you feel the next morning than dumplings, sausage and pretzels! A dish used usually as ‘filling the gap between meals’ are Bagels with sausage! And for you sweet toothed stags try apfelstrudel, a well-loved dessert in Munich and all over Germany. It’s a dish made of fine dough sheets filled with an apple mousse or apple chunks.
One place we recommend is Hofbrauhaus this restaurant is located on the Platzl and is one of the most well-known restaurants in Munich. As well as being the most famous brewery in the World.
Best Nightlife in Munich
There are a range of Munich stag activities that include the nightlife and luckily for you this cities nightlife is one of the most vibrant in Europe, the possibilities for a good night out are endless thanks to the many pubs and clubs scattered throughout the whole city. The majority of the nightlife in Munich is located south and west of the city, these areas have many places to enjoy drinking and dancing the night away. They also offer many different kinds of music to suit all so no stag will be left hanging. One part of Munich is Glockenbachviertel, this area offers a range of different bars on each side of the area with a range of different atmospheres. One of the oldest beer garden’s in Munich known as Beer Garden Augustiner Keller which dates back to 1812 and still serves the traditional experience in all its glory.
