YOU'LL BE SURPRISED
The best part about a Hull stag do is the surprise on your mates faces when they realise how much nightlife is on offer in this hidden gem of a city. The place is full of pubs, bars and clubs that cater to every kind of groom to be – you just need help finding them! In the centre of town, you can find relaxed bars to have a few beers with the guys such as the popular Larkin’s Bar down Newland Avenue (if you’re a craft beer lover, this place is a treat). However, if you want to bounce around from different venues without having to pay for a bazillion taxi’s, Princess Docks is probably your best bet for variety.
As for nightclubs, Hull has a few main contenders that are sure to complete your wild last night of freedom and end the stag do on a high – at least until the hangover hits in the morning. For a classic evening to remember, we highly suggest you check out The Sugar Mill in Dagger Lane. This place boasts three eclectic floors flooded with lights and music, creating a feel-good vibe for you and your friends to feed off.
TRANSPORT IN HULL
Like most UK cities, Hull offers the standard transport when you in the city, which is a huge perk of not going abroad for your stag party – no confusing signs and languages you can’t understand! If none of your stag group fancy being the designated driver for the weekend (who can blame you), then your best bet during the day is to walk around the city centre. Most points of interest, restaurants, pubs and shops are located in places like the St Stephen’s shopping centre. When night falls, cut the stress and just order a big minibus for your group to get to and from the accommodation, this is a cheap way to get around if you’re splitting the cost between the group.
Hull is a great mediator for a stag that’s prone to changing his mind, because the place offers every kind of stag do imaginable. Whether you’re after a chilled getaway from all the stress of the wedding (we feel you), or you’re wanting some adrenaline before you dive into married life, Hull is home to the many great experiences a stag do can offer. It also doesn’t fall short of things to do if you have spare minute in the day and don’t want to break the bank, such as visits to the relaxing East Park or Danes Dyke Nature Reserve.
Above all, Hull is just a great place for you and the guys to make your memories. You can pack all the hotspots of Hull into one awesome day of celebrations or treat yourself to a full on stag weekend that the guys aren’t soon to forget – a Hull stag do leaves it all up to you!
