West End Bars & Clubs
If you’re visiting Cardiff for the first time, it seems only natural to head to the city centre for some fun after dark – and fun you shall find! One completely unique bar we suggest you try is Zerodegrees, a bar with its own microbrewery inside. Whether you’re a big lover of the hops or just want to stick to cocktails, Zerodegrees is a great venue on Westgate Street that’s open til’ late.
To make sure you’ve got the full scope of Cardiff no matter what hen do you’re throwing, We’ve chosen two complete opposite venues to cater for all. A classic that’s absolutely perfect for a cheesy, pink feather bower and L plate kinda hen party is of course Popworld. On the other end of the spectrum is the delectable Alchemist bar serving up smoking cocktails and mind-blowing concoctions in a more chilled atmosphere.
Castle Quarter is a magnet for any group longing for new venues, edgy vibes and something a bit alternative to a pornstar martini in Revs. Beelzebubs is a name you’re bound to remember, and not just because it’s funny! This independent bar offers so much character you might want to hang out all night. Similarly, Tiny Rebel is a spacious bar with comfy seating and a place for everyone. It also houses it’s own craft beers with a cute little logo.
Last but by no means least, we think 10 Feet Tall deserves a mention for the Castle Quarter. Offering a multi-floor bar with a live music basement room and décor (and cocktails) to die for, this interesting bar is a great option for something to remember.
This road gets very busy when the sun goes down, and you might see some familiar faces along the street that are staples in a lot of cities around the UK. Before you dive into the nightclub life, it’s probably worth having a few drinks to toast to the bride to be, but where’s good for bars in Greyfriars? For something different, head into Revolucion De Cuba for an authentic Cuban vibe in both décor and menu. If you just want classic and relaxed, Henry’s has been a staple in Cardiff for 30 years and there’s a reason why.
