Tried & Tested Old Schools Sports Day

We know how important it is for you to choose a company that’s trustworthy and knows all about their product, so what better way for us to make sure all our activities are suitable and fun for you than testing them ourselves! Our team at Funktion Events have taken part in the Old School Sports Day team building activity so we know what you’ll get on the day, and here is a little about what we thought.

If you want to plan an event for some special occasion but are worrying about whether the Old School Sports Day is age restricted or requires a high fitness level, you don’t need too. Our team is full of completely different people of all ages and abilities, but the whole activity was suitable for everyone to get involved in and have a good time.

Part of what made the Old School Sports Day activity so enjoyable was the instructors, who showed fantastic customer service with the ability to assess the group, be informative to check everything was safe and at the same time have some fun with us and encourage high spirits. They answered any questions we might have and tailored the activity to us personally, choosing mini games that we could really get stuck into.

We found that the Old School Sports Day activity is ideal for any type of party, especially a school sports day hen party for all the girls, a memorable school sports day birthday party, a completely hilarious old school sports day stag do or a team building event because it’s so easy to get involved and really show your competitive streak. You might be worrying about doing an activity like this in the autumn or winter, but the team at Funktion Events took part in Old School Sports Day activity in mid-January and being cold wasn’t a problem!

An important factor for an activity that is so active, outdoorsy and quite unique is whether or not the organised event will provide all the safety equipment and briefing needed. On the day, each activity will be explained and any safety gear will be provided with help if you need it, and the instructors will ask if everyone is okay and give time for any questions.
