The city’s number-one underground venue & nightclub, The Tunnels Aberdeen has quickly one of the best live music venues in Scotland after hosting huge live acts such as The Kooks, Frank Turner and Kate Nash. Just as the name suggests, this venue is entirely beneath the streets of Aberdeen and its entrance can be found on Carnegie’s Brae, which passes beneath Union Street right in the middle of the city centre. Once you’ve found the venue, expect to be dancing the night away here as you escape the hustle and bustle of the city above.
2. Club Tropicana
Transport yourself back to the 1980s at Club Tropicana Aberdeen! The city’s top retro nightclub, this venue is actually split into two rooms; Club Tropicana and Venga, which is 90s-themed. You can dance the night away to some of the biggest tunes of the decade whether it’s the Pet Shop Boys or ZZ Top, this club plays it all. Open every Friday and Saturday, this club also puts on some fantastic drinks deals to keep you partying all the way through the evening.
