7 Ridiculously Good Non-Alcoholic Cocktails

Although girly parties are often thought of as booze ups, messy walks home and sore heads the morning after, it doesn’t always have to be that way. If you’re a non-drinker for any reason, you shouldn’t have to settle for a lemonade or some orange squash just because you want to avoid the alcohol.

Whether you’re having a quiet night in or your mate is having some friends around to celebrate their hen do with some killer hen party activities, take advantage of these 7 ridiculously good non-alcoholic cocktails.

1. Passion Fruit Summer Punch

Everyone loves a good refreshing, fruity punch while you’re sitting in the sun enjoying the company of friends and family. This summery punch is perfect for that!


  • 170g mint leaves
  • 2 limes, cut into slices
  • 3 inches’ ginger (or thin sticks)
  • 8 passion fruits
  • 4 juiced oranges
  • ice
  • 240ml lemonade/­sparkling water

Muddle the mint leaves, lime slices and ginger in a bowl and then pour into a pitcher/­serving bowl of your choice. Cut the passion fruits in halve, scoop out the flesh and pop into the pitcher. Add juice from the oranges, the ice cubes and stir thoroughly. Top off with your lemonade and get stuck in.

2.  Sweet Cranberry Refresher

If you like sweet and you like cranberries – this one’s for you. The recipe is quick, cheap and definitely as refreshing as it claims.


  • 470ml water
  • 3 sprigs rosemary (garnish, so optional)
  • 453g cranberries
  • 4 apples
  • Ice

Simply add your water to a saucepan and bring it to the boil. Add the rosemary and lower the heat to simmer for 5 mins. Remove for heat and let steep for 1 hour. Chill into ready to serve. While chilling, juice the cranberries and apples. Mix all together and serve over ice.

3. Cute Cucumber Mojito

If you’re not into drinking, you shouldn’t have to miss out on these classic and ridiculously good non-alcoholic cocktails. We present to you – the mojito!


  • half a lime, juiced
  • Half a lime, cut into wedges
  • 3-4 mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • Half a cucumber, peeled and  pureed
  • 113ml lemonade
  • Ice

Puree your cucumber in a blender/food processor with your lime juice and pour into a glass filled with ice. Muddle the lime wedges, mint and white sugar together. Add all the ingredients to your glass with lemonade – that’s it!

4. Moscow Mule

Just like the alcoholic version, this tasty virgin option has the same kick without the headache (you’re welcome in advance). This one is perfect if you have cocktail making hen party booked and need a non-alcoholic bev.


  • 28ml lime juice
  • 118ml ginger beer
  • 1 tbsp. simple syrup/­grenadine
  • 60ml sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

Add all of your ingredients into your glass and stir thoroughly, before garnishing with a slice of lime. Enjoy it!

5. Non-Alcoholic Sangria

In our opinion, it ain’t no party without a big ol’ jug of sangria, especially when the sun is shining. To bring that fruity holiday feel to you without the booze, check out this simple recipe.


  • 470ml boiling water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 170g sugar
  • 700ml pomegranate juice
  • 240ml orange juice
  • 1 medium orange, sliced into rounds
  • 1 medium lemon, sliced into rounds
  • 1 medium lime, sliced into rounds
  • 1 medium apple, cut into chunks
  • 700ml sparkling water

Pour your boiling water over the tea bags and cinnamon sticks, steep for 5 mins. Throw away the tea bags and stir in sugar until dissolved. In a large pitcher/jug, combine everything except the sparkling water and refrigerate for at least an hour. Before serving, stir in sparkling water and ice.

6. Virgin Frozen Margaritas

Everyone loves a frozen mocktail in the summer sun, and this one adds a bit of bite to your drink. Make sure to add the sugar for the ultimate luxury feel!


  • Lime wedge
  • Coarse sugar
  • Frozen limeade concentrate
  • 80ml orange juice
  • 155ml grapefruit juice
  • Ice

Rub the edge of your glass with the lime wedge and dip into the coarse sugar for a fancy rim. In a blender, mix together the limeade concentrate, orange juice, grapefruit juice and ice until the mix goes slushy. Serve and cool down.

7. Coconut Lavender Lemonade

Last but by no means least is this unusual take on delicious lemonade that totally works – trust us!


  • 9 lemons, squeezed for juice
  • 600g sugar
  • 1,900ml coconut water
  • 950ml water
  • ½ of Lavender simple syrup

Put the lemon juice, coconut water, sugar and water into a pitcher/jug of your choice and shake until the sugar is dissolved. Pour ½ the lavender syrup into your jug and stir in. Sip & enjoy.
