Cocktail Making Masterclass

Learn how to make cocktails like the professionals in this stag party cocktail making party and you'll be able to impress the ladies of your knowledge and skills.

This makes an ideal stag party activity as its not weather dependant, suits all ages and all our venues are in the city centre. 

The cocktail making party offers a 90-minute fun & interactive session including welcome drinks, cocktails, flavoured vodka shots, demonstrations of cocktails, fun games and challenges.  The stag party will experience the history, tools & skills of cocktail mixology while they get behind the bar and shake, muddle, strain & stir their way through a range of classic cocktails.

Our Cocktail Making Parties includes the following:

Introduction: The stag party are greeted on arrival and shown to the bar where they are welcomed with a glass of bubbly and a quick run through of how the session will work. Each member of the stag party is given a name sticker (using nicknames or real names, dependant on the group) and a toast is made to the host with flavoured vodka shots for the whole group.

Background: The cocktail master will provide the stag party with a brief history of cocktails and introduce the group to the bar tools and products they will be using throughout the cocktail making party

Cocktails: The hen party will be shown how to make 4 or 5 of the following classic cocktail types:

• Long Island Iced Tea
• Raspberry Mojito
• Bison Grass Mojito
• Cosmopolitan
• Russian Bride
• Classic Bond Martini
• Mudslide
• Strawberry Woo Woo

Once the stag group have seen demonstrations from the cocktail master each member of the stag party will then be invited behind the bar to make 2 cocktails and can either choose from the list above or the current cocktail menu. This will include some games, fun and team activities like races, blindfold challenges etc.

Finale: Before the cocktail making masterclass finishes each guest will be presented with a certificate of participation and the Groom To Be will receive a keepsake including cocktail recipes and where possible photographs of the session. A farewell drink is supplied in the form of a ‘shots  train’ (flavoured vodka shots) to end the cocktail making party! The stag party will then be shown to a reserved booth or table, where Margherita pizza & wedges and any remaining cocktails will be served, the stag party are welcome to stay at for the rest of the afternoon/evening.

Times for the activity: 12noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm. 4pm, 5pm and 6pm

Venues:  We use modern city centrally located bars

Minimum Group sizes vary at each location.

The cocktail making party consist of the following:

• 90 minute session
• A glass of Chateau Royale on arrival
• Flavour vodka shot to toast the host
• Background information on the history of cocktails
• Bar tools & skills
• Demo cocktails and tasting
• All guests shake up cocktails behind the bar including competition/games
• Two cocktails to make & drink
• Certificate of participation
• Masterclass keepsake & cocktail menu (for the host)
• Shot Train - flavoured vodka shots
• Reserved table where the complimentary stonebaked pizzas & potato wedges will be served (half a margherita pizza & portion of wedges per person).
