What are the hotels like?

We offer a variety of different standards for groups to choose from.  We use national chains and independent accommodation providers which we have tried and tested for all group sizes.

How does Funktion Events work?

• You browse the packages and activities
• Send over an enquiry form
• We allocate your enquiry to a dedicated event manager and they will email your quote back to you
• You then liaise with your dedicated event manager about amendments or other ideas you may have.
• Once you are ready to book you can either call or email your event manager, who will then re-check the availability and run through the package ensuring that everything is the way you want it.
• At the time of booking you will need to pay a deposit, this will be outlined on the deposit, but an example would be; if you wanted to book a cocktail making party for 15 girls, we would require one low group deposit of £40.
• Once the deposit has been received your event manager will email confirmation of your booking and attach your VAT receipt.
• Your event manager will ensure that everything is up to date and will be there any time you have any questions or require advice.
• Your final balance needs to be paid before the weekend, this will be outlined in your quote, however we normally operate between 4 and 5 weeks prior to the party weekend.  For last minute bookings we can offer 7 or 14 days to make life a little easier.
• Your event manager will contact you in the week leading up to the party weekend to see if you have any last minute questions

How do I book a hen weekend?

Just call or email, we re-check the availability, run through the package details and take a deposit

What do I need to pay up front?

We only require a low group deposit which will be outlined on your quote.

Are there any hidden costs?

No, we always tell you every cost at the time of the booking.  We are VAT registered and supply you with a full breakdown on your receipts.

Do I need to know the final numbers when paying the deposit?

No, just give us a rough guide as this makes it easy to book your activities and hotels.  You can inform us of the exact number closer to the party weekend, normally when you’re paying your remaining balance (4-6 weeks prior to the party weekend)

What happens after the deposit is paid?

When the deposit is paid we will send out a confirmation email and VAT receipt, normally within the first hour of booking, but definitely by the end of the working day.  We then start to arrange the package, while you sit back safe in the knowledge we have everything in hand.

When is my final balance due?

Normally between 4-6 weeks prior to the party weekend.  This will be outlined in your quote and booking confirmation.  Plus we will send you a reminder.

Do you have terms and conditions?

Yes, we do. We deal with a lot of corporate clients and so we have expanded our services to cover hen parties.  Our terms protect us and they protect you, see the full terms and conditions.

Do I have to book the full package?

No, if you only want the activities without accommodation then just let us know and we’ll price you individually for them.  Our packages are aimed to offer greater value and are tried and tested, but we are as flexible as you need us to be.

Why don’t you offer any 1 night stays in Brighton, Bournemouth or Newquay between March - September?

Simply because the hotels become very expensive and only offer 2 night stays due to the increase of tourism to the area.  This is out of our control, sorry!
