Clay Pigeon Shooting

Absolute classic, one of the most popular activities we offer!

The clay pigeon shooting activity caters for  everyone, from complete beginners to the more experienced shot, as well as giving the option for lighter-weight equipment for the ladies, which makes enjoyable for all.

Each shooting stand will be manned by a qualified instructor who will show guests various techniques of shooting simulated game e.g. crossing pigeon, high pheasant. You will shoot approximately 25 clays during an hour's session,

Most importantly, everyone will have the opportunity to practice before their scores count.

Quad Bike Safari

Are you ready to take on the challenge of the quad safari? This takes you on a thrilling ride on an exciting course, the emphasis here being on skill and handling. The wetter the conditions, the tougher it gets but our experienced instructors will guide you through.

Segways

This is a fantastic unique activity.

These two wheeled machines have become an instant hit with our groups. The segways are highly versatile and mobile, a fantastic piece of modern technology. They balance themselves as you turn on the spot and make your way over the 4x4 path. They are totally unique and your guests will be stunned by the versatility of these machines and the fact that anyone can get to grips with them in minutes. Segways will be used for off roading or used in games such as Segway Jousting and Segway Football.

Air Rifle Shooting

Four people shoot at the same time which makes this is the perfect opportunity to practice on a range of different targets. Knock down ducks or boars, a selection of spinners or for the real sharp shooters—try to hit the exploding chalk disc targets.

Military Vehicles – Armoured Personnel Carrier

The FV432 Armoured Personnel Carrier is designed to carry troops into battle over the most challenging terrain. Weighing 15 Tons and powered by an 8 Litre Rolls Royce engine, manoeuvre this incredible vehicle with the rest of the group and set off over testing and rough terrain. You'll all get a chance to take the controls and power this Goliath over humps, through ditches and bulldoze any obstacles in your way.

Mini Racing

Be prepared to have the time of your life… its racing time.

Enjoy the thrill of racing in these specially adapted original Minis with roll cages and racing seats for an incomparably unique driving experience. The hardcore racetrack will test even the most experienced racers as you rev the engine to the max and bolt around the track against the clock. This is a time trial activity with the fastest lap of the day winning the bragging rights for the rest of your trip and beyond.

After a couple of practice laps you race against the clock on our hardcore track.

Honda Pilots

This is one of our most popular activities. Speed around the dirt track in these American style dune buggies to see who can gain the fastest lap of the day. Our challenging courses have a variety of testing corners and are excellent fun whether it is wet or dry.

Day Format:

• Guests arrive at the site and meet in the 17th century function room for some morning refreshments, where the brief for the day’s activities will take place.
• An instructor will then explain in detail which activities and equipment you'll be using.  Once this is completed then it’s on with the fun.
• Each activity will last an hour. Allow an additional hour for briefings before and after. For example 2 activities will see you on site for about 3 hours.
• Once the activities have finished guests will return to the function room for a debrief and refreshments.

**Due to local bylaws, the site has to be finished by 1pm. So if you are doing 3 or 4 activities you'll need to arrive around 8.30am in order to complete them** 

Additional Notes:

If you do not hold a current driving licence, please contact us in advance so we can arrange special instruction for you on the driving activities. If this is the case, please also be aware that you will not be able to participate in the Mini driving.
